Illa Edna Banks, age 70, of Newport, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter (Doc) Banks; parents, Henderson and Nettie Price; brother, Don Price.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rusty and Nina Banks, Gary and Tammy Banks, Darrell and Misty Banks, all of Newport; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Junior Wilson, Patsy and Lynn Phillips, Delfene and Buster Cate, all of Newport; daughter, Brenda Banks, of Newport; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren;
brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer (Bill) and Christine Price, Lawrence and Gail Price; sister, Zamora Banks, all of Newport; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Cheryl and Freddy Barnes and kids, Marilyn Seymore, Ryan and Dustin Voudren.
The funeral will be held 2 p.m., Friday, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Fred Cagle officiating, with burial in Spence Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., Thursday, at Manes Funeral Home.
