(Died April 3, 2012) Beverly Warren Stokely, age 71, of Old Hickory, TN, passed away on April 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, J. Murray Stokely; parents, Neil and Agnes Warren. Mrs. Stokely is survived by sons, James Stokely of Old Hickory, TN, Andrew (Crystal) Stokely of Gallatin, TN., William (Jessica Leonard) Stokely of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Ethan and Parker Stokely; aunt, Mildred (Jimmy) Kennon; family friend, Chelsey Stuart. Mrs. Stokely was a retired teacher with Metro Schools and a member of Old Hickory Church of Christ. She was a graduate of DuPont High School. She earned her BS degree from David Lipscomb University and her Master of Arts in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, April 6, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, April 7, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Lasting tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2008 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203.
