ROMINES , ALBERT - age 90 of Knoxville, passed away 1 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Buffatt Heights Baptist Church for 50 years. Served during WW II in Civil Service at Pensacola Air Station. He was president of John Cruze Sheet Metal Company. He was the oldest son of the late George and Ina Romines . Also preceded in death by brothers, Howard, George, Jr. and Raymond Romines ; sister, Ruth Branch. Survivors: wife of 68 years, Mabel Wallace Romines ; sister, Ann Pratt of Knoxville and several cousins. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at St. Mary's for their kindness and care. Service 6:30 p.m. Sunday Buffat Heights Baptist Church, Dr. Dana Matthewson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery for interment at 10 a.m. Monday. Honorary Pallbearers Ready Sunday school class. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Buffat Heights Baptist Church. Announcements by Mynatt's.
