Lydia Gayle Davis, age 25, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. She was an active member of Alcoa-Maryville Church of God, an avid Dr. Who fan, and loved to sing. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence R. “Bill” Lee, Lillian Gaye Lee, and Elsie Edith Davis and uncle, William Clark Davis. She is survived by her parents, Lillian Mildred and Donny Davis; sister, Edith Mae Davis; grandfather, William T. Davis, Jr.; aunt and uncles, Lynda and Jeff McCollum and Robin and Sam Lee; cousins, Tommy McCollum, Michael McCollum, Kristin Davis, and Samantha Lee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 6:00 PM Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, John Campbell and Rev. Hubert McGarity officiating. Family and friends will gather 3:00 PM Sunday at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment, Elder Chester Hembree and Richard Walker officiating.
