Born in Griffithville, Ark., to Ben and Birdie Helen Whaley , he lived in Vallejo for more than 50 years where he was a musician and a Country and Western singer. He enjoyed bingo, horse racing, playing cards, and the ladies loved him. He was predeceased by his parents, Ben and Birdie Helen; son, Glenn; and brothers, Benny, Ray, Birdie Bob and Buck. He is survived by his daughters, Vicky and Paula; stepdaughter, Wendi; sons, Paul and James; stepsons, Ronnie, Scott and Tony; sister, Janie; brother, Cliff; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation is 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Chapels, Vallejo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Colonial Chapels with burial to follow at Sunrise Memorial Cemetery, Vallejo.
