Roy Russell McNabb, age 40, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, at Fort Sanders Hospital in Sevierville. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Newport. He was preceded in death by a son, Jake Russell McNabb; grandparents, J.C. and Arlola Jackson and Roy and Reba McNabb. Survivors include his children, Colten and Kaitlyn McNabb; parents, Carl and Shirley McNabb; sister, Carla (David) Seay, all of Newport; nephews, Zack and Cory Seay, of Knoxville; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Brown Funeral Home. Services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Cable officiating.
