Terrence Logon Stewart, age 21, of Dandridge, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012.
Terrence, born December 29, 1990, was a 2009 graduate of Jefferson County High School. He was an outstanding athlete participating on the varsity football team for four seasons excelling as a defensive lineman. Terrence not only enjoyed participating in sports, he was an avid sports fan, enjoying football and basketball. His favorite NFL football team was the Tennessee Titans. Terrence also enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and bush hogging.
Terrence was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roland Dykes, Jr., and uncle, Anthony Rice both of Newport.
Terrence is survived by his parents, Terry E and Felicia Stewart, of Dandridge; sisters, Terra L. Stewart of Newport and McKenzie Rayann Stewart of Dandridge; brother, Bryan E. (Oxana) Stewart, a member of the Armed Forces serving in Korea; grandparents, Walter G. and Joann Ray of Dandridge; Pauline Rice of Newport; uncles, Walter (Jamye) Ray and Patrick Ray both of Louisville, TN; Roland (Rhonda) Dykes, III, Murfreesboro, TN; Gary (Wendy) Dykes, Newport; Dion (Mary) Dykes, Newport; Scotty (Stacey) Dykes, Knoxville; aunts, Alfreda (Heresy) Lattimore, Knoxville; Stephanie Stewart, Newport; Teresa (Keith) Williams, Newport, Kathy (John) Sims, Knoxville; Vivian (Mark) Reed, San Antonio, TX; Karen (Kevin) Woods, Newport; Katherine Rice, Newport; niece, Genesis Stewart, San Diego, CA; nephew, Cameron Stewart, Edwardsville, IL; best friend and nephew, Tanner Stewart, Canton, GA; and a host of aunts, uncles, special cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Friday, March 16, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Samuel Dzobo officiating. Entombment will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 17, 2012 in Resthaven Memorial Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Friday March 16, 2012 at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
