Survived by his wife: Linda Strickland ; daughters and sons-in-laws: Randy and Dennis Palmer of Knoxville, Elana and Tim Robson of Florida, Mindy and David Payne of Maryville; daughter: Cindy McDivitt of Arkansas; sons and daughters-in-law: Jim and Leta Strickland of Townsend, Tim and Robin Strickland of Morristown; sons: Eddie and Paul Strickland of Townsend; 18 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday January 29, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Jerry McBee officiating. The family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
