WELCH , MAGGIE R. age 93, of Halls, passed away November 17, 2010 at Hillcrest North, after a long battle with Alzheimer. Maggie was the oldest member of Halls Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: son Lowell Rutherford; husbands, Alfred Reford, and Sillus Welch ; parents, Tom and Rispy Robinson; brothers, Joe, John, Bill and Charles; sisters, Zelpher, Satra, Linda, Ollie, and Della. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law Lawrence and Betty Rutherford; daughter and son-in-law, Irene and Perry Walker of Corryton; special granddaughter, Vickie Rutherford; daughter-in-law, Carol Rutherford Welch ; other grandchildren, Steve, and Micheal Rutherford, Pam Rudd, and Kristi Shropshire; six great grandkids; several great great grandkids; brother, James and (Hazel) Robinson of Lasallie, Michigan; sisters, Betty and (Andy) McGill of Sevierville, Florence and (Ray) Alston of Halls; lots of nieces and nephews; special friend, Trula Berry. The family would like to thank Hillcrest North 3rd Floor for all their kindness and care for our Mother. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 18, 7 to 9 p.m. at Cooke Mortuary. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery Friday for 12:30 p.m. entombment . Elder Bill Berry officiating.
