Oglesby, Patrick Eugene, age 63, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2012. Patrick was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid collector of baseball cards and sports magazines. Preceded in death by his father, George Albert Oglesby; and his sister, Patricia Anne Oglesby. Survived by his mother, Willie K. Oglesby; daughter and son-in-law, Renessa and Clint Genoble; daughter, Kathy Oglesby and her special friend, Carson Martin; brother and sister-in-law, David N. and Martha Oglesby; and brother, George A. Oglesby; nephews, Seth and Landon Oglesby. Patrick owned his own bread route with Arnolds Bread Company and Flowers Bread. He was formerly employed by Kern's Bakery for 27 years. Patrick loved his family, was a wonderful father, devoted grandfather, loving brother and son. There is an empty space in our family and he will be sadly missed not only by family but friends as well. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., Rev. George Ott, Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at Boyds Creek Cemetery on Monday, February 20, 2012 for a 1:00 p.m. interment. Pallbearers will be, George Oglesby, David Oglesby, Seth Oglesby, Landon Oglesby, Randy Starky and Carson Martin. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
