Myrtle Evelyn Strombergh, 91, of Signal Mountain, passed away at home Sunday, March 18, 2007.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Chattanooga.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor F. Strombergh; son, Victor E. Strombergh; her grandson, James W. Strombergh Jr.; sisters, Estelle Ownby and Beatrice Viola Pryor; and brothers, James Otha, of Decatur, Robert Dexter, Frank, Haskel, Leonard, Mallon and Carl E. Ownby.
Survivors include her sons, James W. Strombergh, of Signal Mountain, and Leonard A. (Donna) Strombergh, of Chickamauga, Ga.; daughter-in-law, Barbara Strombergh, of Marietta, Ga.; brother, Charles K. Ownby, of East Ridge; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist with the Rev. Gilbert Pingel officiating.
Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
