FOX, MYRTLE OWNBY - age 93, of Pigeon Forge, died Thursday, January 28, 1999, at the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Wilson Fox; brother and sister-in-law, Clon and Juanita Ownby; sisters, Zelma Ownby and Grace Whaley. Survivors: step-children, Phyllis Stump, Paul Fox, Doris Schneider, Marshall "Dot" Fox; several step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Carl Whaley; nephews, Ronnie Joe Whaley, Willis Whaley; niece, Nancy Loveday; several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 7 p.m., Saturday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Rev. Wayne Cook and Rev. John Shephard officiating.
Interment 1 p.m., Sunday in Pigeon Forge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Ronald Whaley, Glenn Cardwell, Gary Loveday, Chad Loveday, Phil Whaley, Jim Whaley, Jim Trotter, Randy Riggins and Larry Costner. The family will receive friends 6-7 p.m., Saturday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
