Jimmy Dale 'Jimbo' Harned, 44, of Malvern, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, as a result of a motorcycle accident. He was born November 8, 1966 in Little Rock, Arkansas, a son of the late Loys Edwin Harned and Patricia (Gary) Harned Duggan. He was a mechanic and an avid NASCAR fan, deeply devoted to Earnhardt Sr. #31. Although 'Jimbo' never had any children, he had a tremendous heart for little ones, especially Elijah Williams, who was like a son to him. He is survived by his companion Melinda Russell and her children Brandon and Ashley Dixson; brothers Jerry Harned, Michael Duggan, and Ricky Duggan; sisters Annette Berney, Charlotte Powell, Barbara Cates, Julia Linn, Sandra Palmer, and Donna Null; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services were held Friday, August 5, 2011, at Regency Funeral Home in Malvern with Brother Walter Yarbrough officiating. Burial followed in Francois Cemetery.
