Sally “Peen” Williamson Crum, age 87, of Walland, born August 6, 1924, in Hartford, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 5, 2012. She is now reunited with her loved ones who have gone on before her. Sally was an avid gardener. She took pride in her many different types of irises. She was a friend and Mamaw to many. She raised four kids and cared for several foster children. Sally was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: husband, Roy Crum; mother and father, Della and Jake Williamson; great-granddaughter, Lillith; and siblings Tommy, Rhoda, Dorothy.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Crum and Louise, Larry Crum and Linda; daughter and son-in-law, Pam Stinnett and Tim; and daughter, Paula Garner. She is also survived by eight granddaughters: Ronda, Tonya, Janice, Shannon, April, Rochelle, Olivia, Whitney and special grandson Randy; great grandchildren include: Dustin, Cody, Taylor, Jacob, Jarrett, Colton, Emma, Josh, Kirsten, Alexis, Trent, Raven, and one on the way. Surviving siblings include John, Ed, Everette (Wid), Cora and Dolly. She is also survived by her much loved and faithful dog, Sunshine, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
The family wishes to express a special thank you for the compassion and care of the staff on 2 North at Asbury Place.
Family will receive friends from 1until 2 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Oak View Baptist Church. Funeral service and burial will follow with Reverend Glenn Gamble and Scott Huffstetler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak View Baptist Church youth group.
