Beatrice Raines Marsh age 89, was born April 18, 1922, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She attended Fairpark Wesleyan Church under the ministry of Pastor Wayne & Carol Friday whom she loved dearly. She took pride in her commitment to Jesus Christ and lived her life by his Word, always showing compassion and understanding to those around her. Bea had a deep desire to win souls to God. She taught Sunday School at Lone Oak Baptist Church and Fairpark Wesleyan Church for many years. She was truly a Godly Woman. Not only did she love her family, but she loved everyone she cam in contact with. She had a deep, pure love that no one could surpass. Bea was the captain of her high school basketball team in Robbins, Tennessee, explaining a lot about Alcoa basketball in the last 40 years. Bea will be sorely missed by everyone whose life she touched. Preceded in death by: Parents, Sarah and Emmitt Raines; Brothers, Lonnie & Curtis Raines. Bea is survived by: Her Loving Husband of 71 years, Jimmie L. Marsh; Sister, Pauline (Charles) Ledford. She was the proud mother of 4 sons: Freddie (Paula) Marsh, Richard (Cynthia) Marsh, David Marsh, Steve (Kathy) Marsh; Grandsons, Todd (Kari), Richard (Dana), Steve (Laura), Richie (Krystal), Micah (Ashley), and Jared (Tabitha) Marsh; Granddaughters, Jackie Bradley, Renae (Jeff) Matthews, Heather (Scott) Fraze, Dawn, Misty, Christie, Brittany, and Stephanie Marsh; 29 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to Morning View, Colonial Hills, Dr. John Ingram, caregiver and friend, Carol Clapper and Linda Feliciano. She will be missed by her many church friends. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Rick Hutchison and Rev. Richard Williams officiating. Family and friends will asssemble for interment at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
