Harold Dean “Hot Dog” Joines, age 69, of Alcoa, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2011, at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Preceded in death by; parents, Bryce and Myrtle Joines; brother, Kenneth Joines, father-in-law, Harold Brittain; and nephew, Steven Joines. Survivors include: wife of 42 years, Linda Joines; son and daughter-in-law, David and Sally Joines; daughter, Deann Joines and fiancé, Chris Kennedy; grandchildren, Kelli, Katie Beth, Allison and Jackson Joines; brother, Glenn and wife, Pat Joines; mother-in-law, Vera Brittain; nephew, Lance Joines; nieces, Scarlett Foster and Gay Myers; great-nephew, Gabriel Myers; great-niece, Calei Myers; aunt, Betty Rogers. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Johnson and Rev. David Anderson officiating.
