Nancy Deanna Smithpeters, age 50, of Cosby, passed away at Fort Sanders Hosptial in Knoxville on Friday, March 26, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her mother Janice Masingale Pratt, father Swancie Pratt, and father-in-law Charles Smithpeters.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 27 years Brummitt Smithpeters; children Donny Oglesby (DonAndra) and Katrina Dukes (Chuck); sister Teresa Phillips (J.R.); brothers Dale Massengill and Randy Masingale (Fannie); sister-in-law Dot Barnes and the late Ed Barnes; sister-in-law Felicia Shelton (Carl); brother-in-law Chuck Smithpeters; very special grandchildren Sara Dukes, Mason Oglesby, Savanah Barnes, and Riley Oglesby; mother-in-law Anna Lou Smithpeters; special uncle Ronnie Phillips; also several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2010, at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Cureton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday prior to the services at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be cremated as per her request.
