  [S4] Knoxville News-Sentinel (Tennessee), 14 Jul 1999. McCARTER, LENORE MARY - age 90, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 1999 at Asbury Acres Nursing Home in Maryville. She was a member of Oak Wood Primitive Baptist Church in Knoxville. Mrs. McCarter was preceded in death by her husband, Audley McCarter; parents, James H. and Etta King; sister and brother-in-law, Jennie and Braskie Scarbrough. Lenore is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mayme and Frank Worsham of Knoxville; grandchildren, Dale E. and Wife Lauren Worsham of Charlotte, NC, Janice and husband Pat Pierce of Louisville, TN; great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Melissa Worsham of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer and Daniel Pierce of Louisville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne W. and Mary King of Powell , TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ida and Albert Crisp of Dandridge, Ethel Whaley of Sevierville, Margie and Lee Arden of Dandridge; several nieces and nephews. Service will be 8:00 p m. Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gerald McFarland officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 15 at Pigeon Forge Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Rawlings Funeral Home.
