She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Ridge and was active in the choir and senior program. She loved Jesus, quilting, traveling, baking cakes for family and friends, decorating her house for Christmas, watching Fox News, entertaining friends, and shopping. She was a loving wife and mother as described in Proverbs 31:10-31. She is preceded in death by infant daughter, Johnnie Darlene Jenkins ; parents, John Chesley Hughes and Martha Effie Kellum Hughes ; sister, Louise Gray; father & mother-in-law, George & Mollie Jenkins . Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Charles (Bud) Jenkins ; children, Effie Tipton and husband Philip, Michael Jenkins and wife Debbie, Molly Kegley and husband William, John Jenkins and wife Kimberly; grandchildren, Caleb Tipton and wife Kate, Josh Tipton and wife Brittany, Amanda McAmis and husband Clay, Hannah Pratt and husband Justin, Beth Dabbs and husband Ryan, Curt Jenkins , Mary Kate Kegley, Anna Kegley, Samuel Jenkins , Noah Jenkins and Abigail Jenkins ; great-grandchildren, Andrew McAmis, Sophia Tipton and Aubrey Jane Tipton; sister, Johnnie Ruth Blankenship; brothers, Bill & Olene, Dawson & Mary, Charles & Mona, Hugo & Pat and Jimmy & Alice Hughes ; brother-in-law, Kenny & Elizabeth Jenkins ; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Brooks, Betty & Mayford Watson, Pat Jenkins & Joyce Jenkins ; many nieces and nephews.
