James Leon (Joker) Williams, 94, of Dandridge, died Wednesday, January 19, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Annetta and Bud Crumbley of Dandridge; son and daughter-in-law, J.C. and Betty Williams of Newport; daughter-in-law, Emma Williams; brothers, Will Williams Jr. of Dandridge, Charles Williams of Newport, and John Alfred Williams of Bybee; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Henderson and Rev. Gary Gass officiating, with burial at 11 a.m. Friday in Swannsylvania Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral.
