John Alfred Williams, age 99, of Bybee, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Palmer Williams; daughter, Rita Williams; grandson, Ricky Williams; parents, Will and Maggie Williams; brothers, Charles, Jess, James, Dave, and Sam Williams; sisters Lillian Lane and Bessie Moore. He is survived by his sons, Ronald (Martha) Williams of Newport, Jerry Williams of Newport; daughters, Saphronia (Ray) Bauer of Berea, Ohio, and Nita Williams of Newport; brother, Junior Williams of Dandridge; grandchildren, Lisa Zelenka of Gatlinburg, Clark Bauer of Newport, Tina Opalka, of Medina, Ohio, Johnny Williams of Newport, Jimmy Williams of Newport, Rhonda Williams of Newport, Evelyn Rita (Mark) Kehoe, of Berea, Ohio, Adam (Gina) Opalka of Medina, Ohio; nineteen great-grandchildren; several; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ned Ramsey officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Fowlers Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Saturday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
