Fernando C. Calvo - born in Bogota, Colombia on December 6, 1949 came to the United States at the age of 18 and realized his dreams - a family, dear friends, citizenship in the greatest country on earth and his own restaurant, Los Cabos Cantina. Fernando passed away on June 5th, leaving his wife, Linda ; his son, Jason and his wife, Jennifer; his son, Fernando and his wife, Tara. Fernando 's life was celebrated with friends and family at a memorial service at the Lake Oconee Lutheran Church in Eatonton on Saturday, June 9th; a holy funeral mass at Transfiguration Church in Marietta on June 12th; a memorial service for employees at his restaurant in Warner Robins on Saturday, June 12th; and a holy funeral mass in Bogota, Colombia on June 22nd. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that gifts be sent in memory of Fernando to the Atlanta-Peachtree Rotary; Buckhead Club, 3333 Peachtree Rd, NE; Suite 1850, Atlanta, GA 30326.
