October 5, 1963 - March 25, 2016 Sherrie Elaine Bedford Lundy, born October 5, 1963, passed away to be with Jesus on March 25, 2016. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee to parents James Sr. & Violet Bedford. Sherrie graduated from South Young High School. She was employed in the Health Care profession. Sherrie was a yard sale queen and very smart about merchandise. It was the thrill of bargaining and haggling that she loved. She was preceded in death by her only child, Daniel James Lundy; and her father James E. Bedford Sr. She is survived by her mother, Violet Bedford; special Yorkies Tessie Mae and Smoky; sisters, Sheila Vess, and Ramona Gibbs (David); brothers, Mike Bedford, James E. Bedford Jr. Rickey Bedford (Angelia), Ronnie Bedford, Jerry Bedford (Karen), and Jack Bedford (Jeannie); special niece Angie Lane who has earned her angel wings; a host of nieces and nephews; and her very dear sister friend Teresa McCoy. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Jack Bedford officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home on Thursday March 31, 2016 at 12:15 PM to go in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment service.
