She was a member of Central Point Baptist Church and operated Hines Beauty Shop for 47 years. She loved flowers and her grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Sam and Alice Whaley; husband, Edward Harold Hines; sisters, Mary Davenport; Nellie Smelcer; Mintha Franklin; Eadra Whaley and Willie Ellen Whaley; brothers, Marshall, Julius, Wade, Earl and Willard Whaley; grandson, Eddie Hines and great-grandson, Bryon May. Survivors Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jackie Hines; grandchildren, Kathy and David Hines; great-grandchildren, Kasie and Doug Cox; Marcus May and Alex Zetzche. Service The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8 PM, Rev. Chris Cupp and Rev. Glen Gamble officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cedar Grove Cemetery on Saturday for 10 AM interment services.
