Pauline Jenkins, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at her home.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1924, in Walland, Tenn., to the late David and Emmaline Ogle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Jenkins and son, Thomas F. Jenkins.
Pauline worked for many years as a teacher's aide for the Chattanooga Public School System. She will be greatly loved and missed by all her family and friends.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by five children, Lee Etta Jenkins , of Chattanooga, Paulette (Eddie) Sims, of Trenton, Ga., Jarita (Tony) Norman, Harvey Jenkins , Rebecca Hutcheson, all of Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Cody Sims, Marissa Hutcheson; three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Connor and Sarah Sims, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Mountain View Cemetery in Benton, Tenn.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home.
