She was preceded in death by: husband, Vaughn Morgan Sr.; parents, Paul and Velma Maples; sister, Edith White. Survived by: son, Vaughn Morgan Jr. and wife, Janet; daughter, Polly Derrick and husband, Mike; granddaughters, Corrie and Ashley Derrick all of Knoxville; sister, Virginia Kilminster of Portland, Oregon; brother, Clifford White and wife, June of Knoxville; special friend, Johnny Dockery; several nieces and nephews. The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Hawkins Chapel. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. Hawkins Chapel, 102 B Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
