WALLACE, ARCHIE L. - age 82 of Andersonville, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at Halls Hospice Center. Archie was a member and deacon of Red Hill Baptist Church of Andersonville. Archie was employed at TVA for 37 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Edna Wallace; great-granddaughter, Hannah Mae Wallace; parents, Frank and Mamie Wallace; sister, Mildred Tudor; brothers, David, Bruce, Bobby and Teddy Wallace. Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Donny and Shannon Wallace, Ronnie and Kathy Wallace, Lanny and Gwen Wallace, Tim and Kathy Wallace, all of Andersonville; Archie had six grandsons, three granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Stooksbury of Andersonville, Elsie Brown of Knoxville; brother, Francis Wallace of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6:00 - 8;00 p.m. at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will be Friday, September 30th 1:00 p.m. at Red Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Gray and Rev. Kenny Bean officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery.
