Eula Nancy Proffitt, 92, of Sevierville, died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2000 at her home. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Alma Proffitt of Washington state; daughters, Mae Floyd of Washington state, Frankie Ownby of Oregon; Brandy Tweed and son-in-law Steve Tweed; sister, Ina Trotter; brother, Carl Whaley; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 7 p.m. Frday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Wells officiaitng. Interment is 10 a.m. Saturday in Pigeon Forge Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Sevierville.
