SHIRLEY JENKINS MOORE, age 79, of Talbott, TN passed away at 4:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2013 at the Serenity House in Morristown following an extended illness. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Morristown. She was a devoted wife and mother. Preceded in death by her daughter, Jane Matthews; parents, Bethel and Laura Jenkins; brother, W. D. Jenkins. Survived by loving husband of 58 years, Gilson Moore; son, Charles Gilson Moore of Flag Pond, TN; son-in-law, Tony Matthews of Jefferson City, TN; grandchildren, Chris Matthews, Emily Moore and Parker Moore; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Marygrace, Anthony Matthews; special family, Barry Matthews, Debbie Standridge and Cathy Rector. Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Leslie Wilder officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service.
