DENNY , PAUL E., JR. - age 50, died Sunday, September 16, 2001, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Mr. Denny was born November 24, 1950, in Winston-Salem, N.C., a son of the late Paul E. Elizabeth Kegarise Denny . He was predeceased by a daughter, Whitney Morgan Denny in 1989. He was owner of Coast Central Equipment of Myrtle Beach, and a former owner of Sante Fe Station Restaurant, a member of Myrtle Beach Community Church and Ocean Drive Presbyterian, a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and an avid hunter, fisherman, and a true outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife, Debbie R. Denny ; two sons, Christopher Lance and Matthew Taylor Denny , a daughter, Victoria Chandler Denny , all of North Myrtle Beach, a sister, Judy Denny Broyles of Albemarle, N.C., his mother-in-law, Betty B. Rogers of Knoxville. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2001, at Myrtle Beach Community Church with Revs. Ronny Byrd and Everett Douglas officiating. Burial will follow at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens with Dr. Robert Kantner officiating. Memorials may be made to either Myrtle Beach Community Church, 3015 Fantasy Way, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579, or Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, 410-6th Ave. South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. McMillan-Small Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
