He served in the U.S. Army for eight years. Preceded in death by father, Jesse Ben Bowman; mother, Ida Bowman; brothers; C.R., Benny, Sam, and Jim Bowman; sister, Betty Joe Kememore; and infant grandson, Jesse Q. Bowman. Survived by wife, Dot G. Bowman; son, Tim O. Bowman and wife, Melissa; grandson, Tyler Bowman; several nieces and nephews. Masonic service 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel with funeral service to follow, Rev. Bill Moore officiating.
