MULLINS: Mrs. Peggy A. Watkins , 68, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2008.
She was the daughter of the late John Edward Lequire and Edith Inez Cooper. Mrs. Watkins was of the Christian faith, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, James Walter Watkins ; one son, James Ronald "Ron" (Ginger) Watkins of Murrells Inlet; two daughters, Lisa (Daniel) Whitesides Bolwerk of Mullins and Penny (Daniel) Watkins Allen of Rains; one brother, the Rev. John Thomas "Tommy" (Nancy) Lequire of Tennessee; and two sisters, Betty Brown and Janet Tipton of Tennessee. She is also survived by four grandchildren, James Russell "Russ" Watkins of Myrtle Beach, Jennifer Ryan Watkins of Pawleys Island, Ryan Wesley Whitesides of Mullins, and Gage Daniel "Mannie" Allen of Rains.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in the Chapel of Meares Funeral Home of Mullins. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in Cedardale Cemetery, Mullins.
