Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Ona Boring Hearon; grandson, Steve Hearon; step-grandson, Nathaniel Swaney; and great-grandson, Eli Hatcher. Survivors include: sons, Coy (Madge), Clifton (Mae), Hubert (Dean), Herman (Linda), Stanley (Becky), Charles (Teresa); daughters, Nettalee (Bill) Nichols, Maxine (Ronnie) Byrd, Betty Jean Sparks; brother, Sterling Hearon; twelve grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special friends and just like his sons, Mark (Ann) King and Scott King; and special life-long friend, Jay Cooper. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Carmel Baptist Church Building Fund, 910 Walker School Rd, Maryville, TN 37803.
