Ervin Lamar Hearon, age 95, passed away at the family home, Thursday, May 14, 2015. He was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Ona Boring Hearon; grandson, Steve Hearon; step-grandson, Nathaniel Swaney; and great-grandson, Eli Hatcher. Survivors include: sons, Coy (Madge), Clifton (Mae), Hubert (Dean), Herman (Linda), Stanley (Becky), Charles (Teresa); daughters, Nettalee (Bill) Nichols, Maxine (Ronnie) Byrd, Betty Jean Sparks; brother, Sterling Hearon; twelve grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; special friends and just like his sons, Mark (Ann) King and Scott King; and special life-long friend, Jay Cooper. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Carmel Baptist Church Building Fund, 910 Walker School Rd, Maryville, TN 37803. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Beecher Whitehead and Rev. Bill Dixon officiating, with interment to follow at Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church Cemetery.
