Ms. April LeeAnn Staton, age 32, of Newport, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011.
She was a member of Edgemont Church of God.
She is survived by her son Casper Staton and daughter Rose O'Dell; her mother Diane Wines Staton and father Jeff Staton; her grandparents JoAnn Frazier, Charles Parker, Woodrow and Dottie Wines, and Hoyt and Jennie Staton; and brother Ace Staton.
Additional survivors include several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends, including special friend Glendon O'Dell.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 1, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Stump officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Steve Wines, Ricky Wines, Terry Ball, Ronnie McGaha, Tim Wines, and Kevin Taylor.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. Friday at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with final expenses.
