He was a self-employed Computer Technician. He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Staton; and father Hoyt Edward Staton; He is survived by his son Ace Staton of Clinton, TN; mother, Jennie Staton of Newport, sister, Linda Gray of Newport; grandchildren, Christian Staton and Weston Staton of Oak Ridge, Casper Staton and Rose O’Dell of Newport; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop John Nations officiating. Burial will be 10:30 am Thursday, August 11, 2011 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
