Greens’ 50th
Jim and Mona (Gregory) Green, of Maryville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 6 at House in the Woods on the Maryville College Campus. Friends and relatives are invited to attend.
They request no gifts.
The couple were married Aug. 15, 1961, in Bryson City, N.C. Joseph S. Johnson officiated.
Their family includes children Marty Green Teffeteller and husband Kim and Jamie Teffeteller and wife Monica. They have three grandchildren, Cory, Haley and Jacob, and three step-grandchildren, Brendan, Erica and Rachael.
Mr. Green is retired from CK Supply and the Tennessee Air National Guard. Mrs. Green is retired from Rivers Advertising and Blount County Executive staff.
They are active members of Piney Grove Baptist Church and Campers on Mission.
