Nealie Mae Ward age 92 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, James K. Ward; Parents, Mongo & Nellie Williams; Brother, Greenway Hodge; Sister, Ruby Spears; Son-in-law, Glenn Tyler. Survivors include: Daughter, Zora Tyler of Maryville; Grandchildren, Don & Stephanie Tyler and Darrell Tyler; Great-Grandchildren, Dusty Tyler, Alison Tyler, and Aaron Tyler; Brothers, John Hodge, Jr. of Maryville and Barney Reed Hodge of Vonore; Sisters, Birdy Nell Dailey of Knoxville, Nora McCullough of Vonore, and Bonnie Moser of Madisonville; Special nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM, Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Huskey officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
