Forrest “Blackeye” Sisk, age 83, of Newport, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at U. T. Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary Ruth Sisk; parents, William and Minnie Sisk; brothers, Roy, Tom, and Robert Sisk; sister, Susie Owens and Louise Hance; great-granddaughter Elizabeth Cheynne White.
He is survived by his companion of 33 years Doris Sisk , son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Wanda Sisk; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Fred White, Karen and Gary Ellis; brothers, James E. Sisk and James A. Sisk; grandchildren, David, Dawn, Brad, Chad, Joseph and Jacob White, Jessica Sisk, Natasha Sisk, Amber Walker, Charity Gilliam, Autumn Gilliam and Misty Ellis; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Hunter, Joshua, Andrew and Noah White, Summer and Jordan Belcher, Conner Hudgins, Joshua Walker and (little one to be).
The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday, March 14, 2014 with funeral services following at 7:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Miller officiating.
Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Union Cemetery.
