Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara & Roy Catlett, Shirley & Elmer Carter, Charlotte & Jay Cox; 3 grandchildren, David Carter, Teresa Walker and husband Jess, Marvin Carter and wife Melissa; granddaughter-in-law, Delores Carter; step-granddaughter, Sherry Pennington; 4 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, and Melissa Carter, Clay Walker; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bertha & D.R. Summers. Service 2 p.m. Friday, Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Marvin Carter, Jr. And Rev. Joe McCoy officiating. Interment to follow at Bookwalter Cemetery. Pallbearers: David and Matthew Carter, Jess and Clay Walker, Tommy and Russell Summers, Albert and Bill Hurst.
