BUTLER , CLIFFORD HOUSTON - age 84 of Maryville, passed away Friday, February 7, 2003 at the family home. He was retired from Blount County Highway Department and preceded in death by infant son, Clinton Butler , parents, Isaac and Lillie Butler , sister, Geneva Butler and brothers Otha and Garfield Butler . Survivors include wife of 64 years, Thelma Butler sons and daughters in law, Troy and Pat Butler and Isaac and Cathy Butler daughters and sons in law, Faye and Wayne Atchley and Barbara and Rick Dunn grandchildren, Troy Lee Butler , Angela Gossett, Robin Stapleton, Jennifer Byrd, Stella Ramsay, Huey Butler and Patti Slaton 14 great grandchildren sister, Marie Rogers brother and sister in law, Pearson and Kethleen Butler special friends, Harry Russell, Earl Potter and Mary Ellen Cable several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Sunday, February 9, 2003 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wayne Ditmore, Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Kenneth Sullivan officiating. Interment 2:00 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
