Maxine (Wise) Holt, age 67, went to be with her Lord Friday December 17,2004 at Baptist Hospltal of Cocke County following a short illness.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Henry and Ellen (Dawson) Wise, four brothers, Fred Wise, Herman Wise, Hunley Wise, Carrol Ed Wise and five sisters also preceded in death: Dorothy Marshall, Alma Toby, Nellie Turner, Marjorie Trowell and Elizabeth Crumbley.
Maxine is survived by her husband of 47 years Arvel Clyde Holt of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law, Rita and Ronnie Holt of Bybee and Patricia and Wayne Gates of Parrottsville, one sister, Jessie Stephenson of Point Pleasant; Grandchildren, Elizabeth and David Gates of Parrottsville and several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday December 19, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be conducted Monday December 20, 2004 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Napier officiating Maxine will lie in state from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to service Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Maxine Holt.
