BOLIN, HOBART TILLMAN (H.T.), JR. - age 59 of Strawberry Plains, passed away at his home on Gobblers Nob Road, May 20, 2009 (sic). He was preceded in death by his wife, Lek (Boni) Bolin; father, Hobart Tillman Bolin, Sr.; grandparents, Birchel M. and Allie Mae Borden Bolin, all of Strawberry Plains. Survived by mother, Lillie Mae Bell Bolin and children, Tammy Rene and Scott Mellon of Morristown; Chad Bolin of Strawberry Plains, Jason and Marilyn Bolin of Dandridge and Angela Overton of Maryville; grandchildren, Zachary Thai and Isaiah Seth Mellon, Kamry Alysse and Kylie Addison Bolin; sisters, Cherel Jean Henderson of Knoxville, Becky Anderson of Regina KY; brother, Frank Bolin of Strawberry Plains and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. He was a 15-year U.S. Navy and Army Veteran and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also a member of The Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 102, Knoxville. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Fielden's Ffuneral Home, New Market, followed by interment service with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #5266 at Pleasant Grove (Piiney) Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Garreth Henderson, Zachary Mellon, Chuck Anderson, James, J.T. and Travis Kiestler. Rev. Tim Farrow will be officiating at the service.
