Miller , 84, of Rockford, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. She graduated from Young High School in Knoxville and was a lifelong member of Oakwood Primitive Baptist Church in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel T. Miller , Sr.; father, Theodore R. Wells, Sr., of South Knoxville; mother, Loutisha S. Wells, of South Knoxville; brother, Theodore (Buddy) R. Wells, Jr., of Knox County. Survivors include her son, Lynn E. Shuler and wife, Barbara H. Shuler; son, Samuel T. Miller Jr. and wife, Valerie A. Miller ; grandchildren, Travis Shuler and Wife, Ashley, Paige Jarnagin and husband, Jerry; great-grandchildren, Ella and Hunter Shuler, Aleehia and Easton Jarnagin; nephews, Donald and Jeff Wells. Funeral Service will be held 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville, with Elder Ellis Lynn and Elder Daniel Wood officiating. Family and friends will meet at Memorial Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 8, 2015 to proceed to Mt. Olive Cemetery, in Knoxville, for an 11:00 A.M. internment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Sunday June 7, 2015 at the funeral home. Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
