Stout, William S. (Sam) – age 78 of Mascot passed away Monday, September 26, 2011, at his home. Member of Branville Baptist Church and Mascot Masonic Lodge #738 F&AM. US Army Veteran of Korea. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Gladys Stout. Survived by wife, Zetta Stout; daughters, Terrie Parrott and husband Kenny, Kellie Duignan and husband Aaron, and Amy Neal and husband Bob; sister, Maria Hardin; 7 grandchildren, Kristy Greer and husband Joe, Joshua Parrott, Shanna Long and husband Junior, Heather Haynes and husband Billy, Jeremy Duignan, Jessie Neal, and Abby Neal; and great grandchildren, Zack and Kayla Bell, Kayden Parrott, Kaleb Parrott, Anna Long, and Emma Long. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 29, 2011, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Reynolds and Rev. David Webster officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM Friday at the funeral home and proceed to Roseberry Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be provided by East TN Veteran Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
