R.L. Webb age 86 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church and retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. Preceded in death by: Wife of 50 years, Chester Faye Webb; Parents, Homer & Mollie Webb; Brothers, Jasper, Reford, Raymond, and Marshall Webb. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Donald L. & Patsy Webb of Maryville; Grandchildren: Matthew Webb & wife Natosha, Shelly Webb, and Andrew Webb & wife Melissa; Great-Grandchildren, Ally Grace & Ella Katherine Webb; Sister, Arzadia Bass of Maryville; Other extended family members, friends and the caring staff and residents of Fairpark Healthcare Center. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Joe Black & Rev. Rex Rogers officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Henry Linginfelfter officiating.
