Pate, Carolyn Ann – age 67 of Kodak passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at home. Carolyn was a member of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. She was known for her generosity and her caring heart for others. Carolyn loved to create flower arrangements and other crafts, and shared her talent by providing flower arrangements for her church. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Carrie Lou Huffaker. Survived by husband, Clyde Pate; brother, Tim Huffaker and wife Carol; special niece, Megan Huffaker; and special friend, Mildred Hickman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie White officiating followed by the interment at Beech Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers: Gene Byrd and the Deacons of Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paw Paw Hollow Baptist Church Building Fund, 4470 Douglas Dam Road, Kodak, TN 37764. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
