Mayme L. Burchfield, 90, of Walland, passed away July 9, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Taylor Burchfield; daughters, Novelle Goble and Marilyn Nuchols; son, William Burchfield; parents, Joe and Martha Boring; grandsons, Dwight Lawson, Rodney Burchfield; three brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her children, Michael and Janice Burchfield, Geraldeen Davis, Wanda and Donnie Jennings; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Robert Jennings officiating. The family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Nebo Church Cemetery for graveside and interment services.
