JORDAN, MRS. NELLIE L. (NELL) - age 94 of Washburn passed away Sunday morning May 15, 2011 at Claiborne County Hospital. She was a member of Elm Springs Baptist Church and was preceded in death by husband, William (Bill)Jordan; daughter, Lola Mae Graves; sons, James (J.R.) Jordan, Billy Ray Jordan, Buford Jordan; parents, John and Vesta Day Arnwine; sister, Lena Arnwine; brothers, Floyd, Glen, Clea, Dewey, Arthur, Grade, Ike and Phil Arnwine. Survived by 7 grandchildren, Linda Graves, Jimmy Graves, James Graves, Della Beeler, Chenia Keaton Lena Jordan Upchurch, Debbie Brown, 9 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law Sally Jordan and Ruth Jordan. Son-in-law Robert Graves; sister-in-law Hazel Arnwine of Seymour. Funeral service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Byrd's Chapel, Rev. Leon Nicely officiating, singers will be Nave Hill Church Singers, Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery in Washburn. Pallbearers Lynn Graves, Bobby Graves, Ronnie Beeler, Chris Beeler, John Beeler, Danny Helton, Honorary Pallbearers will be the other 5 great grandchildren.
