Loanna Smith, age 77, on Newport, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011. She was employed by the Gas Utility District for 23 years, and was employed by Dollywood for 11 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford (Red) and Ossie Louise (Taylor) Holt; sister, Evelyn Levonia Thompson; sister-in-law, Polly (McCurry) Holt. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Denver B. Smith, son, Randall Smith; son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Jama Smith; grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Christopher and Jamie Smith, Jason and Tonya Smith, and Robbie and Brenna Smith; brothers and sister-in-law, Edwin and Blanch Holt; and Billy D. Holt; great grandchildren, Addelyn McKai Smith, Alyssa Ellen Smith, Jackson Mason and Ethan Jones; several nieces, nephews, church members and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Monday, May 16, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm prior to the funeral service.
