Oscar Nelson Watson, age 98 of Sevierville, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Mr. Watson was a lifelong resident of Sevier County and was a member of Oldham’s Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Viola Watson; wife Ersa Watson; son Ted Watson; brothers Herbert, Sam R. and Albert Watson; sisters Vergie Cardwell, Willie Woodruff and Ruby Roberts.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Steve O. and Rosie Watson; daughters and son-in-law Judy Watson, Carolyn and Jerry Reagan; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother J.B. Watson; and sister Ida Blalock; special friends Wilma Crawley, Catherine Moore and Robert Moore; special thanks to the staff of Ft. Sanders-Sevier Nursing Home.
Funeral service 7 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Interment 10:30 AM Saturday in Middle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.(www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
